Jakub Urlich is an experienced voice artist whose adventure with the microphone began in 1997. For 15 years he was associated with Polish Radio's Channel One, working on programmes such as "Sygnały Dnia", "Z kraju i ze świata", "Popołudnie z Jedynką" and "Magazyn z pierwszej ręki". Since 2005 he has specialised in recording Polish-language versions of films and TV programmes, serving as the Polish voice of Bear Grylls, Cesar Millan and RuPaul, among others. His voice has been heard in commercials since 1999.
Jakub Urlich is also an active musician – since 1991 he has sung in the band Werchowyna. In his extensive career he records audiobooks, audio guides, IVR systems, presentations, e-learning materials, instruction manuals, lullabies, fairy tales and interviews. He is a founding member of the Polish Voice Artists' Association.
